1 We invest only when we conclude that we have an investment advantage, or an anticipation for profit.
2 We only invest in mutual funds that are market leaders
as determined by our dynamic ranking system. We measure performance not only by return, but also by relative strength and volatility. For a fund to warrant our consideration, it must be performing well right now.

We "trade-up" to better funds when appropriate.
There are no fundsthat go up forever. As a fund weakens or moves sideways, we look for another fund that has increasing relative strength.

We sell when risk is excessive.
Many people have a "buy" strategy; we also have a "sell" strategy. Our indicators and models alert us to increases in market risk and our trading strategies are designed to help us avoid serious losses.
